Delete your account

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Article 17, you have the right to have your personal data erased ("the right to be forgotten"). At CareClub, we take your privacy seriously and make it easy for you to delete your account and all associated data.

To request deletion of your account and all associated personal data, please send an email to:

Please include the following in your email:

• Your full name
• The email address associated with your CareClub account
• A clear request to delete your account

We will process your request as soon as possible and no later than within 30 days, as required by GDPR.

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Your profile data and preferences
• Your booking history
• Any payment information stored in our system
• All other data associated with your account

Certain information we may be legally required to retain for a limited period after deletion of your account, including:

• Accounting records (the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires retention for 5 years)
• Transaction data necessary to comply with tax legislation

This information is stored securely and used solely to meet legal requirements. It is automatically deleted when the retention obligation expires.

Please note that deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted:

• You will lose access to the CareClub app and all features
• Any active bookings will be cancelled
• Unused punch cards or credits will be forfeited
• You cannot recover your account or data

If you wish to use CareClub again after deletion, you will need to create a new account.

We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days. The actual deletion will be completed within 30 days of receiving your request, in accordance with GDPR requirements.

You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
